Introducing Drupal

1 min read

Greetings everyone !

We have just shifted our site to a CMS named Drupal. The major reasons for doing this is the amount of flexibility it offers in terms of introducing new features and modules. The new site was launched a few hours ago and I am sure most of you have figured out that something has changed 🙂 We want your feedback on this. Also, if you face any issues, or find broken links, you can post them as a comment or get back to us at [email protected]

Looking forward to your take on our new site. Happy coding.

Regards,
Aniruddha.

  1. Congrats folks ! Is it because of this only that I can see menus as hiding behind the notice board section in home page of this site in IE7 browser?

  3. Ok, I do not like it. I used to be able to submit a file. Now, somehow, I am supposed to cut-and-paste my code into the submission box I guess. That stinks.

  7. I am not too sure about the aesthetics. Things look quite roughed up and a bit disorganized. Formatting, paddings etc.. can be improved. And there is a minor change in the main menu formatting as well. Visually, it looks quite rough as compared to what it was earlier.

  9. Also, now that trying to view someone’s solution which isn’t public just leads to a lightbox error + blank content on the page, there is no way of viewing comments on that solution. Thus you should get rid of them in the ‘Recent Comments’ section where you can see a short excerpt but never be able to see the rest of the comment.
