CodeChef July 2010 Cook-Off Results

Hi guys,

The July 2010 Cook-Off, our first ever attempt at a short contest format has now successfully come to an end. This was quite an exciting moment for us and we hope you all had as much fun with it as we did. Successful submissions to the contest started to pour in, in under 30 minutes, proving that we have some highly skilled coders participating on CodeChef. 🙂

  1. We want more such contests. At least twice every month. I would suggest to keep the prize money as low as possible ( or better eliminate it all together ). Bragging rights is all that one should get for doing well in these contests.

  4. Yes. Let’s have more such contests. Setting problems for such contests is also not hard (considering we need only medium and high mediums and not more). So getting questions will not be as hard as that for a monthly contest (I am ready to offer some questions).
