I donno if others are facing the same problem or is it just on my laptop. When I open a non-monthly contest ( like iiit-a’s, mnnit’s etc., ), my browser is getting hanged.. and I have to force quit it and start again. Same problem again.. its getting stuck and using high cpu %. It was not the case till last month.. its happening only recently. With out opening those contests, everything (other sites) works fine.
@Vijay: That may be because now the contest page has an announcement section which uses javascript to make AJAX calls to fetch any recent announcements without you being required to refresh the page. This should work in most browsers though CodeChef is known to have issues with IE. Can you please mention which browser are you using along with the version number and your OS.

@Vijay: We believe we have identified the issue. Can you please confirm that it did not happen for Alkhwarizm. Also, now you may not be having this issue any more. Please let us know. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.
OK. I just confirmed with some of my friends, they faced the same problems too. Browser gets hanged.. and its horrible that time, can’t open anything, have to wait for ‘force quit. yes?’ to come up or kill it & restart the browser 🙁
