The first week of the year has been filled with some exciting news and updates for programming enthusiasts. With free Special Classes and Micro-courses on Unacademy’s Competitive Programming category, our educators have covered a wide array of topics suiting every programmer’s needs. With some classes being a follow-up from the previous week, we also picked up new topics. Let’s get into the details of some of those popular classes that opened up the year for every budding programmer.

For those of you who are unaware what these classes are, Special Classes are free classes and can be attended by anyone on the Unacademy Platform who registers and chooses Competitive Programming as her goal. You can sign up on the Unacademy Platform using your mobile number or email address. You would be receiving an OTP on you registered credentials which you need to enter in the sign up menu. Once you have signed up, you need to add Competitive Programming to your goal from the drop down menu to avail these free classes.

Jan 3, 2021 – Getting stuck while solving problems related to Heaps? A Heap is a specialized tree-based data structure that is essentially an almost complete tree that satisfies the heap property. The topic comprises several kinds of problems of varying difficulty, some of which might keep you a bit perplexed, but we have you covered. Our educator Rohit Mazumder has the perfect solution for all your worries. His special class focuses on some of the challenging questions that you might face related to Heaps. Jan 4, 2021 – Loops might be one of the most widely used methods to solve a wide range of problems. It forms a big part of the whole Brute Force approach in programming. We also had the ICPC Training Series Contest 2 lecture sessions on the Unacademy Platform so be sure to check them out. A personalized roadmap for your programming goals in 2021 was also designed by our educators. These classes started on 5th January, 2021 and were specially curated to meet a budding programmers needs.
