Another week, another set of exciting classes from Learn Competitive Programming with CodeChef Program on Unacademy! With a bunch of free Micro-Courses and special classes, there was something for every aspiring coder this week. Also, we had some interesting events as well covered by our educators that are a must-watch. Without further ado, let’s get into the details of these classes.

Classes that keep you glued to your screens!

Jan 9, 2021 – One of the most commonly seen problems in coding is related to Trees. The concept might look a bit complex at first but gets really interesting once you get a hold of it. Trees are a widely used abstract data type used to show the hierarchical relationship between several entities. Sounds confusing? Don’t worry, we have the perfect solution for you. Himanshu Singh’s Micro-Course on Tree Algorithms takes you deep into the concepts while making them easy to understand. You can learn about LCA, Tree Flattening, and much more.

Jan 9, 2021 – Pattern Matching Algorithms have become a very trendy concept in Data Structures. Also known as String Searching Algorithms, it is usually used to find a substring or a pattern from a given bigger string. It might seem a bit straightforward at first, but there are a lot of intricacies involved. Riya Bansal’s Micro-Course on the topic can be a great way to get started with these Algorithms. You would start from implementing the Pattern Matching Algorithm to solving a large variety of problems in this course.

Jan 10, 2021 – Searching is probably one of the first topics that you study in college if you have DSA as a subject. It is a simple concept with a wide range of applications in many advanced Algorithms. Therefore, you must be fluent in it. Sanket Singh’s Micro-Course on Searching takes you through various searching techniques and then provides you with problems of varying difficulty to practice. If you want to have a resource for learning the concepts of Searching without getting into a lot of detail, then this is the one for you.

Jan 14, 2021 – Graph theory is a fundamental concept in Data Structures, especially if you want to crack major coding interviews. With so many minute details, it becomes highly essential that you ace it. Utkarsh Gupta’s classes on Graph theory are an excellent way to get started with the topic and solve advanced problems. Also, the classes are in Hindi to quickly understand the concepts if you are not very comfortable with English.

There were a couple of special events as well with our educators Riya Bansal and Deepak Gaur. These events focused on a personalized roadmap to achieve your programming goals in 2021. If you want to start your programming journey but are not sure how to plan things initially, then these events are specially curated for you. Do check them out!

These were a few classes that we covered here. If you want to check out all of them, do give a visit to the Competitive Programming category on the Unacademy platform. This is Ashutosh from CodeChef, hoping that these classes will make you keep coming back for more. We’ll be back again with another roundup next week. Till then, keep coding!
