A detailed description of it has been provided in the end. Anyone can attend these classes. To access them on the Learn Competitive Programming With CodeChef category on the Unacademy platform, use the Access Code – CODECHEF.

Let’s hop onto the roundup ride and catch up with all the highlights.

Special Classes for your Programming Appetite! | April 02, 2021 – April 08, 2021

Linked List – Linked Lists form a big part of DSA and are used in various programs to make the code more optimized and efficient. Being one of the basic topics in Data Structures, you must understand its fundamentals. Our educator Kushagra Nigam will help you with the basics of Linked List and teach you its implementation in his Special Class. If you are starting with DSA, then this is a must for you!

Sorting Techniques in C++ – You might have already learned about the different Sorting Techniques in detail if you follow our roundups regularly. This time around, we have brought them for those coders who want to learn about them in C++. Chitrank Mishra, our educator, will help you with the various techniques and teach you how to implement them better, all this in C++!

Binary Number System – For any coder, understanding the Binary Number System’s concepts is of utmost importance. With a wide range of applications in several programs and Number Theory concepts, learning about them is essential for coming up with quick solutions. Prof. Arnab Chakraborty will help you tackle your Number System issues with ease by assisting you in his Special Class. With a focus on Binary Number System, you’ll learn about implementing these in programs and their significance in general.

Heap – Heap is a Data Structure that many coders avoid because of how complex it seems. To ace every question in a contest, you need to have a full understanding of such complex concepts as well. With his Special Class, Robin Khurana is here to help you with all your doubts and make one of the most complex topics a piece of cake for you.

Events that made the weekend even special!

During the weekend, we had a Weekend Programming Aptitude Test Series called CodeChef Elevate. It was an hour-long MCQ test for beginners. If you have a knack for coding but don’t know where to start, this can be the perfect option for you. Even though the test is over, you can still participate in it to solve the questions and have fun! Also, each upcoming test gives a lot of prizes & scholarships, so check out the same.

We also had a 2-Day weekend learning series called CodeChef Rise that will help you ace your coding journey. CodeChef Rise is the perfect place to learn if you’re a 2 to 4-star coder looking to level up! Even though the event is over, all recordings of CodeChef Rise will be available to all users for free!

What is a Free Class (aka Special Class), and how can you attend one?

Free classes are called Special Classes and can be attended by anyone on the Unacademy Platform who registers and chooses Competitive Programming as their goal. When you try to check any of the classes mentioned earlier, you will be taken to the Unacademy platform and will be required to sign up using your mobile number or email address. You would be receiving an OTP on your registered credentials to enter the sign-up menu. Once you have signed up, you need to add Competitive Programming to your goal from the drop-down menu. This will ensure that learning CP remains your goal this year, and you keep getting updates about any new programming classes on the platform. To watch these free classes on the platform for the first time, always remember to use the access code CODECHEF.

You can download the Unacademy App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and follow the instructions given above to access the content from your mobile device.

We’ll be hosting several interesting classes and events in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for those. This wraps up the roundup for this week. We’ll be back soon with more exciting resources. Till then, let’s crack it! Ciao!
