A Whole Lot Of Classes, And A Whole Lot Of Learning! | May 3, 2021 – May 9, 2021.
Dynamic Programming – Dynamic Programming (DP) is a pivotal concept in programming, and CP, and understanding it thoroughly is a must for every coder. In last Monday’s Special Class Mastering DP – V, EducatorRiya Bansal explored the importance and applications of DP. The class was geared towards beginners, and was her 5th in the Mastering DP series. You can catch the class recordings here to enhance your knowledge.
Truth Tables and Logic Gates – In a beginner-friendly class last week, EducatorArnab Chakraborty covered a much awaited concept – Truth Tables and Logic Gates. The session was aimed to help coders intending to make it big in the world of Competitive Programming, and we are sure the learners walked away with tons of new knowledge. Prefix and Postfix Notation – An important topic, Prefix and Postfix Notations are used to simplify the evaluation of a mathematical expression. In an intense class, EducatorChitrank Mishra helped learners better understand this concept. The session was for intermediate level coders, and if that’s you, feel free to head over here for some learning.
Sorting Algorithms – In a riveting lecture, EducatorSanket Singh explained all the major Sorting Algorithms. The class discussed complexity analysis, stability analysis and problem-solving corresponding to said algorithms. The class was taken in Hindi, and was aimed at intermediates. Everyone’s Favorite – Weekend Events!
A weekend learning event that we all enjoyed was the Lab on Search Algorithms Reprised. The lab helped students understand what goes on behind a YouTube video search. It covered implementation of Hashing and Tries, and even if you missed the live workshop we suggest you go here watch the class asap!
Another exciting event was the 6th test in our test series Elevate. The hour-long long MCQ test comes equipped with 35 questions and the winner is rewarded with a free 3-month subscription to Learn CP With CodeChef! Additionally, all those securing a rank in the top 100 also get a scholarship! Even though the test has ended now, you can always go ahead and solve it now as practice for the upcoming test! What is a Free Class (aka Special Class), and how can you attend one?
Free classes are called Special Classes and can be attended by anyone on the Unacademy Platform who registers and chooses Competitive Programming as their goal. When you try to check any of the classes mentioned earlier, you will be taken to the Unacademy platform and will be required to sign up using your mobile number or email address. You would be receiving an OTP on your registered credentials to enter the sign-up menu. Once you have signed up, you need to add Competitive Programming to your goal from the drop-down menu. This will ensure that learning CP remains your goal this year, and you keep getting updates about any new programming classes on the platform. To watch these free classes on the platform for the first time, always remember to use the access code CODECHEF.
