The past few days at the Learn Competitive Programming With CodeChef program on Unacademy have been an absolute riot. We got around to a whole lot of learning, and we’re here with a short and spicy recap for you. In case this is your first round-up blog, let us give you a little bit of context. You’ve arrived at the weekly round-up blog where we bring you up to speed with all the free classes a.k.a special classes, weekend events, and test series that are held on Unacademy every day. If you’re wondering as to what a special class is, we’ve added a detailed explanation at the end. As of now, here are all the classes we loved this past week.
Special Classes for Special Learning | 24th to 30th May!
Binary Trees – The week was off to a cracking start as Educator Sonia Motwani introduced us to the basics of Binary Trees. The class covered the various types of Binary Trees in a brief manner, along with their application. It was a session aimed for beginners hoping to build a solid base, and improve over time. If that sounds like you, head on over to the recording of the class here.
Miscellaneous Practice – The week also came with its fair share of practical lessons. Educator Chitrank Mishra lead us in a class dedicated to solving various problems and the topics covered included Bit Magic, Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Hashing and more. It was a perfect hands-on session with huge amounts of learning. If you’re looking to do a bit of problem-solving yourself, you can catch the class here.
How To Manage Placement & Internship Preparation – This was the dream session for everyone losing sleep over their upcoming placements and internships. The class was a live QnA so everyone present could get their doubts solved. We saw questions ranging from how to prepare for an interview to tips on stress management. Educator Nishant Chahar did a great job on answering all these questions, and we highly recommend you go here and catch up with what went on in the session.
The Highlight Of The Weekend!
Beginners Carnival | 29th and 30th May!
The Beginners Carnival was easily the most exciting event for every budding this weekend! The two-day event focused on getting the learners acquainted with the concepts of coding, and helped them find their footing in the world of programming. It was a 20-hour event, divided equally over two days and it focused on classes related to introduction to programming & elementary DSA topics. It was an amazing experience overall, and even if you missed the live thing, you can watch the recorded classes here.
