Welcome back to another one of our weekly round-up blogs! This past week at the Learn Competitive Programming With CodeChef program on Unacademy has been absolutely jam packed with learning. We had some stellar special classes, and a weekend event to die for. If you happened to have missed a few things, as always, we’re here to help you play catch-up.
If this happens to be your first round-up blog, let us give you the details. You’ve arrived at the sacred space where every single week we go over all the free classes, weekend events, and tests held on Unacademy. If you don’t have a clue as to what a free class is and how to access it, we’ve added a description at the bottom for you. For now, here’s our favorite classes of the week.
A Week Of Non-Stop Learning | 21st – 27th June
DSA Bootcamp 2.0 – 26th – 27th June
Our last week’s weekend event was all about revision on Data Structures & Algorithms, and its subtopics. It was the perfect two-day camp filled with theory lectures about everything from Graphs to Square Root Decomposition! As the cherry on top, every single theory lesson was followed by a practical session to help you understand the concepts thoroughly. And we did all this with the best Educators on the Unacademy platform! It was a learning experience that we highly recommend you catch up with if you missed the live workshop.
Special Classes
Introduction To Segment Trees – In the first lesson of a series, Educator Nipun Mittal helped us take our first step In the world of Segment Trees. The class was aimed at advanced coders looking to master the concept. We got a detailed explanation of the need for Segment Trees, how to go about creating it, and its use cases. If this sounds like something you want to attend, head on over here.
Introduction To Loops – This was a class that every beginner aiming to get better cannot miss. Educator Sonia Motwani guided us through the concept, and detailed fundamental methods like algorithms and flowcharts. The session was especially focused around figuring out exactly how beneficial this unorthodox method of problem-solving can be. If you’re looking for a few handy tips regarding Loops, check out the session here.
Dynamic Programming On Trees – This was a completely hands-on session, revolving around better understanding the concept. Educator Istasis Mishara explained the finer points of Dynamic Programming on Trees and we all definitely learnt a lot from the session. The end goal of the class was to help learners get a better understanding of DP on Trees, and if that sounds interesting to you, you can watch the recording of it here.
Problems On Binary Search – This was a class for all those aiming to ace their product company interviews. Educator Umang Agrawal discussed the crucial binary search problems one would come across in such settings and how exactly you can go about solving them. The session also came equipped with an in-depth analysis of pseudo code and its implementation. If this looks like a class you can get behind, you can check it out here.
