Welcome everyone to this week’s round-up blog! We saw a whole lot of learning these past 7 days at the Learn Competitive Programming With CodeChef program on Unacademy, and we’re here to bring you up to speed with all of it. From some amazing special classes to a weekend event that was the perfect coding haven, here’s all that went down.
The Much Loved Weekend Event
Programmer’s Carnival – This two-day event was every programmer’s dream come true. The workshop had 20 hours of free classes, with 10 hours being dedicated solely to DSA. The camp also had classes on Full Stack, Backend Development, and System Design. In short it was a pretty big shabang, and even if you missed the live event, you can still catch up by watching the recordings! .
Free Classes That Were The Highlights Of Our Week!
Internships & Placement AMA – This was hands-down one of the best classes of the week. Educator Yogesh Yogendra led the beginner-friendly class, and covered doubts everyone had. He fielded questions about things varying from what problems one would encounter in an interview to how to best manage your time. If you’re prepping for an interview yourself, it’s best you watch the class here. Best of luck!
Mix Problem Solving – In another perfect practical class, Educator Mohammad Farz helped us solve actual interview problems revolving around a variety of topics. The Hinglish session was aimed for anyone and everyone looking to hone and fine-tune their problem-solving skills. If this sounds like a class that you might find helpful, you can watch a recording of the entire thing here.
Bit Manipulation & Online Judges – This was one for all the competitive programmers out there. In the class, Educator Arnab Chakraborty used Python to demonstrate how to solve problems using Bit Manipulation. He focused on solving the problems with minimum complexity, and successfully submitting these on online coding portals. It was the perfect session for beginners, and you can catch it here.
Practicing Two Pointers – This session was the second in a series, and was aimed at the problem-solving part of the Two-Pointer technique. Educator Chitrank Mishra focused on helping the students present in developing a more thorough understanding of the subject. It was an intermediate session held in Hinglish, and we certainly enjoyed it. You can watch a replay of the class here.
