Top Coding Colleges Of The August Long Challenge!

We saw some great participation from our college rookies this Long Challenge. They showed amazing skill and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to see such healthy coding cultures growing within Universities. Here’s a list of the top 5 colleges of the August Long Challenge! 

The Colleges That Killed It! 

K L University – This contest’s University with the highest participation was K L University. 1,500+ coders entered the battlefield from here, and collectively managed to send in over 10.5k submissions. The University’s performance was impeccable as 29 coders from here tied for the 172nd spot in Division Two. 

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur – Next up we had the IIT, Kharagpur. We saw nearly 450 coders participate in the contest from the institute. These 450 must have worked hard, because they managed to send in 4965 submissions before the end of the competition. The stars here were no doubt kasparovian, tiasmondal, sayan_2763, sarthakjp, and dev_202. While kasparovian and tiasmondal claimed places 27 & 29 in Division One, sayan_2763 & sarthakjp tied for 29ty position in Division Two, and dev_202 claimed the number 33 spot in Division Three. 

Lovely Professional University – Coming in hot at 3rd place was Lovely Professional University with it’s 432 coders and 3,800+ submissions. The aces of the University were ashu_0301, puja_kumari12, fer403, kirtigaurav, sumit634. ashu_0301 clinched the 9th place in Division Two, while the rest of the coders tied for 5th place in Division Three. 

Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore – The Vellore Institute of Technology was the college with 4th most participation as 421 coders from here tuned in to the August Long Challenge. These coders worked diligently throughout the contest and gave us 4k+ submissions. The best performer of the University was ayushman_25 as he claimed the 142nd spot in Division Two. 

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology – Last but not least on our list was the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. The institution saw healthy doses of competition as 400 players from here participated in the contest, and managed to send in over 3.7k submissions. The star performer here was 

pyrate69 as he claimed the 108th position in Division Three.
