Rising Stars | September Long Challenge

1 min read

We kick-started September with the lengthy Long Challenge, and there are so many more contests coming up for you soon. The Chef kept a close look at this month’s Challenge, and he found so many enthusiastic coders make their way into the top 50 for the very first time!

And The Rising Stars Are…

  • Tied for the first rank for the first time, we have Abhay Jindal from Jaguar Land Rover, Naren Karri (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal), and Trived (IIT, Indore). It is impressive and intriguing to note how professionals are also taking time out of their busy schedules and improving their skills in the field. As we say, a programmer never stops learning. We also appreciate the college students who are on par with these working professionals.
  • Saurav Biyani from Birla Institute of Technology and Science participated in the rated contests for the first time and managed to secure the ninth rank in the first attempt itself.
  • Aditya Ganguly (Jadavpur University) improved his Long Challenge rank from 6389 to a global rank of 12! He managed to do this by solving seven questions and gained a solid 224 points!
  • Tanmay Pani (IIT, BHU) and Kunwar Preet Singh ( IIT, Kanpur) came in the top 50 for the first time. They solved the same set of questions and made it to the top.
  • While we saw many college students make their way up the table, young school coders also made their mark. Aniket Ghosh (The Heritage School, Kolkata) and Pratyanch Jain (Rockwoods High School, Chitrakoot Nagar) shone in the limelight for the first time.
  • A whopping number of 94 people are tied for the rank 46 for the very first time!
  • Few of the other achievers are Anmol Harsh (IIT, Kharagpur), Kalash Chouhan (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal), Shalabh Sangal (Meerut Institute of Technology), Prianshu Prasad (University of Calcutta), and Nimisha Patel (School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), Ahmedabad University).

Well, coders, that’s all about this month’s Long Challenge. If you know any of these rising stars, do let them know of their achievement. Now you can check out all the video editorials here for this month’s Long Challenge.
