The Colleges That Stole The Spotlight In The November Long Challenge!

As the month draws to a close, we’re taking a look back to see how well our college coders this time. While top Universities and tier 1 colleges are always prominent performers, we’re taking a moment to highlight the colleges that debuted in the top in the November Long Challenge. Here are your top 5 colleges of this Long Challenge! 

MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad – The MLR Institute of Technology made a stunning entry to the top. The Institute had 183 coders participate in the competition, and they managed to send in a total of 1381 submissions over the 10 days. The undisputed star of the Institute was sushmanth_0303 as he claimed the 32nd rank in Division One. 

Vardhaman College of Engineering – The Vardhaman College of Engineering was a close second with its 182 participants. The players from here worked hard throughout the competition and we saw a total of nearly 950 submissions from here. Coders jithin7, sravani111, sravani733 lead the charge for their college and were a few of the best performers from here. 

KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad – The KIET Group of Institutions was another great performer in this Long Challenge. The Institute saw 149 players who worked hard to send in 1224 over the course of the competition. The standout player of the Institute was soumy_jain as they secured the 105th position in Division One. 

Institute of Engineering and Technology, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya – Coming in hot at number four was the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya as the Institute saw exactly 141 coders send in a total of 1550 submissions. The stars of the Institute were amiy_tiwari, mourya_satyam, and vyas_samarth11. While amiy_tiwari and mourya_satyam shared the 56th rank in Division One, vyas_samarth11 secured the 42nd place in Division Three. 

Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology and Science, Guntur – Last but not least was the Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology and Science. We saw 136 coders from the Institute partake in the competition, and together they sent in 1347 submissions. Players pavansai13s and rohith_0 were a few of the best performers from here. 

Other than these 5, the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology were colleges that left their mark on the November Long Challenge. It’s truly gratifying to see such enthusiasm and skill from our budding college coders, and we wish them luck as they try and scale other rank lists!
